A vacancy has arisen within the Catering Department for a Catering Assistant.

We are seeking a cheerful, friendly individual who works well in a team and can cope with a high pressure environment to join our existing team of catering staff.

Duties include salad & sandwich preparation, setting up display counters, food service, till operation, waste removal, cleaning and plate wash.  In addition, the successful candidate will be required to assist in accepting receipt of deliveries and subsequent storage of goods, therefore unavoidable manual handling activities will be involved.

Applicants should have previous catering experience in a similar environment and hold a Basic Hygiene Certificate.  Full training will be provided where necessary.

Hours of work:  8.30am to 3.00pm - Monday to Friday
(Occasional overtime may be required)
