The Olympus KD-611L IT Knife2 has been designed for en-block resection of early gastric cancer lesions within the upper GI tract. |
The IT Knife has been improved and now incorporates an electrode on the proximal side of the ceramic tip that provides exceptional cutting performance. This makes it possible to perform lateral cutting from a vertical approach thus enabling much faster and more efficient incision and dissection. When used in combination with the HotBite forceps, cutting with the IT Knife2 is accurate and controlled.

The Olympus KD-620LR HookKnife is perfect for fibre-by-fibre dissection of lesions within the upper GI tract. |
The HookKnife is both adjustable in length and rotatable, making targeting of lesions simple and effective. The knife is used to hook fibres and draw them away from the mucosa, where diathermy is applied to cut. This drawing method minimises the risk of perforation as cutting always takes pace away from the lumen wall.

The Olympus KD-630L FlexKnife is a flexible knife ideal for the separation of fibres between the submucosa and the muscularis in the upper GI tract.
The adjustable length of the knife’s active surface, combined with clever design of the sheath makes the FlexKnife ideal for marking and dissecting. The wide collar of the knife prevents perforation by allowing precise control of the cutting depth.

The Olympus KD-640L TT Knife features a triangular tip, which is for use in the upper GI tract. |
The TT Knife has evolved from the process of ESD, which began with the IT Knife. The triangular tip of the knife can be used for either cutting or coagulating, and has been designed to operate in any direction.

The Olympus FD-410LR and FD-411UR Coagrasper is a specially designed hot grasping forcep specifically designed for use during ESD procedures in the upper and lower GI tracts. |
Now available in two versions for both upper and lower GI procedures, the broad grasping area of the jaws concentrate diathermy current where most needed allowing effective and reliable haemostasis to grasped vessels during ESD. Targeting is enhanced by the Coagrasper’s rotatable design.

The Olympus FD-420LR HotClaw is a hot grasping forcep specifically designed for use during ESD procedures in the upper GI tract. |
The HotClaw can be used as an alternative to the IT Knife2 for cutting between submucosal access ports on the mucosa created by the HotBite forceps. The HotClaw has the advantage of providing the ability to coagulate as and when necessary during the procedure, and to draw tissue way from the wall of the lumen during use, reducing further the risk of complications.

The Olympus FD-430L HotBite is a specially designed forcep for use in the upper GI tract for gaining access to the submucosa. |
The HotBite Forceps are matched to the IT Knife2, allowing perfectly sized access ports to be created to reach the submucosa. Once through, the ceramic tip of the IT Knife2 can be used to plunge cut perpendicular to the mucosa with the minimal risk of perforation.
