With ENDOBASE, Olympus establishes the basis for ESI and allows for complete integration of all areas of endoscopy into existing hospital IT-landscapes. As the digital core of the ESI concept, ENDOBASE supports and interfaces all areas of a modern endoscopy department: before, during and after an examination. The user-friendly interface of the software and easy to use applications enhance the implementation process. Nursing staff, doctors, administration and of course the patients all benefit alike from ENDOBASE.

	ENDOBASE Logon screen, allows the users to login using ENDOBASE username and password, Hospital network account, single sign-on or the use of a secure ID swipe card.
	The Scheduler allows the user to see all procedures, patient demographics, room capacity, and recall letters over a defined period.
	Patient List, displays an available list of all patient in ENDOBASE.
	New Examination, pre-assessment patient data can be entered, to schedule the procedure.
	Perform Examination, live display of Endoscopic image, capture of still
	Post Examination, selection for images to be reported on, built in video clip editor, anatomically enhance images, order lab request, see previous patient examination images, import/export to PACS and export images/video clips to Microsoft windows formats.
	Structured Terminology, the terminology for the examination appears on the left-hand side of the window. Select one or more terms by clicking on them. The associated attribute(s) and location(s) appear in the centre of the window, select the relevant ones.
	Patient History, here you can see for the selected patient all examination data, reports and images. You can also file lab results for lab requests here. To see the data of an examination click on the cross in front of the red cross.
